Cobra Airguns: We not only do CO2  air gun repairs for old Crosman and Daisy but your old Benjamin and Sheridan pumps could not be in better hands. Most of these oldies but goodies are not only worth repairing but they still bring a handsome price for resale!!! If an air gun will not hold CO2 or air this is a typical reseal. Although there is lubricating oil in CO2 if the airgun has not been used in a long time these seals dry out and crack and need to be replaced.

Repair On CO2 Air Pistols and Rifles
When Cobra airguns smiths dissembles a CO2 rifle or pistol: CO2 is mixed with oil so first all this oil from over the years must be removed. We soak the air gun and its parts in a non aggressive de-creaser to remove dirt, old gummy oil and old seals that stick to the valve. The trigger and all moving parts are de burred and buffed smoothed. After drying all parts are examined for any defects or over worn parts if any part needs to be replaced you the customer would be called to tell us how to proceed. Once every part has passed inspection  the valve is given a light film of non peritoneum oil placed on the valve and seals to assure a good seal. The air gun is reassembled and test fired to make sure it will be in full working condition when air gun is returned to you.

Spring airgun tunes: There are three types of spring tunes that Cobra Airguns provides. 1-Standard $95.00 This is a basic cleaning, lubrication and inspection. When dissembled all parts are decreased then fully inspected for any damaged, worn or imperfections parts. For instance a spring from even a new gun can have a bend in it this happens for many reasons like from lack of lubricant when cocking the barrel the top of the spring turns and the bottom of the spring will not creating a twist that bends the spring. Barrel cleaning one of the main reasons for loss of accuracy along with checking the crown on the barrel.       2-New Spring Tune: $195.00 All that is in the standard tune plus In addition, this tune will make the shot cycle of your airgun much smoother by installing a new factory, Maccari or other aftermarket mainspring with custom fitted spring guides 3-Full Tune: $225.00 This is the best tune you receive all that is in the spring tune and we add a trigger tune along with Piston buttons that will keep the piston aligned in the compression tube and will eliminate piston wobble.

Trigger tunes: on a spring rifle is a little bit more complicated then on a CO2 pistol as seen on left the pistol is open for service and all parts to the trigger are accessible. And most are not fully adjustable. Although we can change the spring along with other modifications but that would be under the cost of a trigger tune. The Air Rifle trigger is self contained as you can see on the right it is a small job within its self and for that reason  there is a charge.

Airguns with two stage adjustable triggers are dissembled all parts are De-burred and polished the rough suffices along with any slag left behind during manufacturing.
