At the Airgun only range area that Cobra created is open to the public (below) you can put your airgun and shooting talents to the test with a distances from 10 up to 150 yards!!! There are targets and spinners already there or bring your own. The airgun range is self govern. You must call your own cold line to change

your targets. You can buy fire arms targets there if you want most people bring their own. 

You might want to bring a chair, drinks and lunch it is a long ride to pick something up. 

The range is directly behind the main building but you must stop in at the main building (above) and pay $10.00 per shooter for the day to use the range. 

You can always find a Long Island Field Target Member  there that can show you the ropes and you may see some amazing airguns!!

Lift has three shoots per month Air pistol, Air Rifle silhouette and Field Target. Go to the web site and you will find many photos and write ups of our past meets. You will also find a calendar of events that will let you know when the meets are and you can always come down to see what it is all bout.

The field target course is 10 lanes 3 targets per lane 2 shots per target 60 shots total. Three tree bats, many new targets With 10-55 yard targets With 1/2 - 11/2 holes. Range will open at 7:30 for set up all are welcome to help Sight in range opens at 8:30 closes at 10:00 Shooters meeting 10:00 Meet starts at 10:30 After Shoot Lunch is provided. It is a full day of shooting.

This Club is not all about high end guns some members are shooting the Crosman 2240, 2300T, Daisy 717 and the Gamo compact in pistol Silhouette. In rifle the Crosman Challenger, Benjamin Marauder and Discovery. In spring class the Gamo CFX, Whisper, RWS 34. So there is no need to drain the bank.

It is all about knowing your rifle or pistol and shot placement. One of our members won the state in hunter field target with the RWS Diana 34
We have a great club because of our members, there is something about pellet guns that attracts good people  most LIFT members also shoot firearms. But with the price of ammo and when was time you could practice in your back yard, garage or basement. Also pellets are as little as $8.50 for 500 shots.

You do not have to be a member to shoot in one of our airgun events just come down on the day of the event. You could shoot in the event or just watch. If you do not know what is the right gun or don't own an pellet gun just come down to Cobra Airguns before the competition and we will set you up for the day with a air rifle or pistol to see if you like it.


 
Directions: Long Island Expressway to exit 68 North (William Floyd Parkway). Go North approximately 5 miles to Route 25 East ( Middle Country Rd.). Go East 1 mile and Range is on the left (North) side of Rt.25.
