The Cobra Airguns Venom breech you see in the video was designed for the Benjamin Discovery rifle where you would want the bolt on the right. But for test reasons like travel the pistol is easer to put in a case, uninstalled and reinstalled after testing. That is why we put it on a pistol. We should have some this weekend and will do another video.

The Venom breech (above) has well over 2000 shoots put though it and we are trying to make it fail and it has not Customers have come in to the shop and after testing it ordered the venom breech on the spot.

We will not put the bolt slot on each side because this will leave the side that is not being used open to the elements. And letting dirt and Foreign material into the breech.

The breech will be sold in two ways pistol where the bolt will be on left

And for the Benjamin Discovery, Crosman 2260 and 2250 air rifles where the
bolt will be on the right like on the video

If you are left handed and want it for a pistol buy the rifle breech.

The Cobra venom Breech will come in .22 and .177
calibers soon.

The Venom breech will not need any machining of the barrel or the breech.

The ports match the Crosman 2240, Benjamin Discovery, Crosman 2260 and 2250

The breech ports are the same on the Crosman 1377 but the tube size is smaller
it will fit but will be a little over sized. We will make one for the 1377 soon

This is a custom made product and some times can take up to 2-3 weeks to ship

or can ship in 1-2 days all depending on availability of materials.

Cobra Venom 10 Shot Installation On A Crosman 2240

When disassembling your Crosman 2240 please have a clear work space and a container to put the parts in as you remove them as some are very small. This installation is not difficult but you must take your time.

(Photo 1) We start with removing the front sight by placing a block of wood at the back of the sight and tap till it slides off. As you see the sight is only pressed on.

(Photo 2) Remove the barrel band by backing out the screws (8-32) on top and bottom of the band with an allen key(5/64).

(Photo 3) Remove breech screw(4-48 x .250) under the bolt probe. (.050 allen key)
This is a very small screw be careful you will need this screw.

(Photo 4) Remove the rear sight by removing the retaining screw with a standard screwdriver. The plastic breech can now be removed.

(Photo 5) Remove the rear screw located under the tube at the rear of the pistol grip. (But be care full the hammer spring is right behind the cap) This will allow you to remove the rear tube cap and hammer spring (photo left) and slide back the hammer by pulling back the cocking pin. The forward grip retaining screw does not need to be removed.

(Photo 6) Remove the cocking pin by sliding the pin back and lining the pin up with the circular hole and slide it out.


And now for the installation the Cobra Venom 10 shot breech. The parts comes in a kit that has every thing you will need for assembly but the tools. The beech kit shown in picture is what you receive in the with your order.
	Cobra Venom Breech Kit 1) Breech with bolt and probe 1) Breech shuttle block 1) Rear breech screw 1) Extended cocking pin 1) Middle breech screw (4-48 original screw) 1) Transfer port extension tube 2) Shuttle Block screws 2) Small barrel screws
(Photo 1) First install the barrel by sliding the barrel into the breech. You must line up the transfer port with the hole in the breech (another view in photo 4) You must drop the small breech screw in place before installing shuttle block Drop the screw in place as you can see in photo 6 some of the small screw is under the block (Photo 2) Take the shuttle block and hold it with small breech screw already in place under the block. Push the barrel through until the tip of the barrel is in block. Check the breech to see that the transfer port lines up.

(Photo 3) Install the two screws in the shuttle block. Be careful to make sure the screw holes are lined up, take you time here so not to strip the threads in the breech.

(Photo 4) As you can see the small screw in the picture on the table is not installed. We had to take the block off and put it in place and reinstall the block. But you can see the transfer port lined up.

(Photo 5) Take the transfer port Aluminum tube and push it into the clear tubing provided with the kit.
Then once together push clear tube side into the transfer port. Make sure it is all the way down and meets the barrel.

(Photo 6) Ok the breech is ready....You can see the transfer port, the small breech screw and barrel.

(Photo 7 & 8) Now we prep the pistol. The cocking pin that came with your 2240 is now to short and you must use the one provided with the kit. Slide the hammer in and line up the pin hole with the top slot on the air tube and lightly tap it in.

(Photo 9&10) Match up the transfer port, cocking pin and small breech screw.

(Photo 11&12) Tighten middle small breech screw(4-48) and re-install the rear breech screw.

Once finished with the install make sure there are no remaning parts and that everything is tightened. Drop in a fresh co2 and take a few primer shots without pellets.

At this point you have completed the Venom Multi-shot breech install..At this point all there is left to do is enjoy your new breech..
