Standard magazine capacity is usually 50-80 rounds in most guns. High-Capacity magazines has 300-400 rounds in most gun types. Some high-end airsoft gun manufacturers have magazines that are BRAND interchangable. Like the Tokyo Marui M4A1. A Classic Army M4A1 magazine would fit a Tokyo Marui M4A1 and Vice Versa. Check first for compatiblity befor purchasing your preferred airsoft magazines.
How High Capacity Magazines Work
High Capacity magazines usually stores 200+ BBs in a reservoir. All you need to do is wind the wheel underneath the magazine to feed BBs into the feeding tube of the magazine. Never over wind the magazine! Most often, overwinding will leave permanent damage to the magazine.
High capacity magazines somtimes jam. This is normal in certain circumstances. If it jams, try tapping it a number of times until it feeds. In other cases, airsoft magazines jam because of poor quality bbs or irregularly shaped bbs. When using a High capacity magazine, be sure to use high quality precision bbs. Also, never reuse bbs. This can leave permanent damage to your magazine as well as your airsoft gun.
