I've had quite a bit of experience with firearms. I've used everything from Webley 38cal to Chinese SKS's. My favorite handgun was the Beretta 9mm and hadn't until recently even considered owning an "airgun."
I did the usual research and decided on the Walther/UMAREX CP88BL. What a pistol!
Everything about this air pistol says quality. This pistol has great weight and balance. And the "Out of the box" sights were more than just dialed in.
After getting used to the "feel", I decided to try some real target work. I used Crosman Premier 7.9gr sharp points and with a 1/2 used CO2, was still able to group 7/8 shots within 3/4" with several pellets even touching from 35'!
Hooyah.
I had looked closely at the Beeman Tempest, but the features and reviews ultimately led me to the CP88.
I couldn't be happier with the choice!
