SKB ATA style cases (Airline Transport Association) are molded from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, the material specified by the U.S. military for cases and containers which must withstand the toughest field conditions.
• All ATA cases are designed to exceed ATA 300 Class 1 specifications. The HDPE plastic is impervious to oil, petroleum, fuels and acid. The aluminum valance on SKB cases provides a reliable "tongue and groove" closure and a neoprene O-Ring gasket keeps out harmful moisture. Heavy duty die-cast locking latches are engineered for a lifetime of service. These quality latches are field replaceable and are guaranteed for the life of the case. Selected case models have durable built-in wheels for effortless transport.
