The first time I fired this gun , the pellet left the barrel with super force. I thought I was shooting a .22 cal. The CO2 housing is in the grip and very cool. You pull it out from the grip almost like you would with a grip clip. It sits in this well made CO2 holder and you push it up into the grip , close the back of the grip and you are almost ready. there is NO turning a pin to puncture the co2. The clip holder is very new to me. You pull a lever down and the top of the gun slides forward. Just like a .45 or 9mm when the rail pops forward. You drop your clip in the slot on the top of the gun , pull the slide back and it closes and locks your clip in the gun. Very powerful and fun.
