This Crosman 760 airgun although very light and small, is quite a joy to shoot! The large magazine lets you shoot for a long time, and the fiber optic sight helps you to be on target, especially when shooting at a dark target. Pumping effort is medium as far as youth-size pneumatic pump airguns go. With the Crosman 760 I have shot small grasshoppers at about 15-20 feet with it, and have shot caps off of bottles at a little over ten yards, both with open sights. However, I would reccomend an inexpensive airgun scope or the Copperhead red dot sight for a young or inexperienced shooter. Due to the smooth bore, I advise against using pellets, and favor BBs in this gun. If you want the fun of shooting an airgun without a heavy price, or you have a young shooter that you know who would like to get started, give this great little gun some thought!
