Possibly the best back yard rifle ever. Quality built in Germany. If all new "adult" spring piston buyers started with this rifle instead of some touchy magnum powered monster the general level of marksmanship in the air gun world would improve. One of the least hold sensitive spring piston air rifles ever. Many hobbyists say that the R7 would be the last air rifle they would part with. Mine is a Precision Gold. adjustable rekord trigger! I did change the scope after a few weeks. The Hawke 2x7x32 is a great choice. Trust me I'm picky!

I actually purchased the Beeman R7 precision combo, which the folks at cobra airguns, so kindly substituted for me for the R7 double gold combo, since it was out of stock. I was told the only difference was the scope. That being said I have never looked back. I received the gun in very short order. The first shot I took with the gun at approximately 40 feet hit the outside edge of the bullseye. Thinking it was beginners luck I shot 10 more times all shots came with a group about the size of a quarter. I had purchased 2 other guns at Cabellas and ended up returning them because I was completely unhappy them. After doing alot of research I decided on the Beeman R7. As far as I am concerned it is well worth the asking price and would highly recommend to anyone who understands the statement, " You get what you pay for". Beeman definitely lives up to that.
