This is a decent rifle for the money. The finish is plain-jane and there are a few plastic parts, but it's solidy built and has a nice weight/feel to it. The trigger isn't bad for this sort of rifle. and the accuracy is good. I yanked the scope off of mine and mounted a BSA Red Dot , I can shoot about 1- inch groups at 25 yards using the red dot, closer to 3/4 inch at 30 yds with the scope. The 3-9x32 scope that came with it is pretty basic, and it has an ugly Beeman logo stamped on it. I don't use the scope, but have transferred the mounts to another rifle. I don't have a chronograph, but, compared to my other rifles, I'd guess this one actually shoots in the 600-700 fps range with real-world pellets. The cocking/firing action was a little clunky at first, but it smoothed-out after about 50-100 shots. Cocking effort is average-to-low, it has a longish barrel and a muzzle brake that help in this regard. It's also a relatively quiet rifle, and a proven squirrel-buster.

the gun itself is a good gun. the reason i rated it 4 was because of the scope, they should have a better quality scope (and more powerfull) along with a scope mount that has a 1 solid peice base. the gun and scope is accurate enough for me but if you like to hit Abe Lincons head off the penny every time then this scope isnt for you. i reccomend this gun to most people.
