These new BBs from Excel are excellent ammunition for any soft air gun. They are semi-heavy and well balanced. Because they are meant for high powered guns, the BBs are heavier than most soft air ammunition. The extra mass of the BBs creates greater momentum and reduces air resistance. The Hop-Up feature in most Marui guns is calibrated for these BBs, making them standard ammunition for Marui guns. These Excel BBs are also biodegradable. Scientists estimate that it takes between 2 months to a year to break them down, compared with 5 years of normal BBs. The BBs are designed with close precision: they are carefully designed to be all spherical (so they will jam less) and they are balanced (so they will fly with a much greater precision).
